I keep hearing and seeing these mild temps for the weekend.

Yet on the MO 6 dayer which to b fair isnt that brill.

It doesn't even get over 10c for here, nope its down to 9c every day till next monday.
To be honest looking at the wind direction as well its wont be much above that either.

So the BBC4 man says look forward to it getting warmer at the end of the week/weekend.
Well since this post earlier, the MO 6 dayer now give 7/8c at weekend, so going against presenters.
Now its only a computer but its giving mod/fresh easterlies and they are not going to be warm, so who will be right.

As ever since they said it will be getting warmer every written forecast is getting colder, at this rate it will be snowing at the weekend lol..

Sorry I thought winter had just started a couple of weeks ago. :yahoo:

The so called warm up can not even swoop to the same level of December. A lot of rain on the way see below, there could be some brief wet snowfall for the chilterns.

Bit of rain, bit of wind.

Nothing that this eastern Atlantic island can't handle.

Drying up from tomorrow onwards for a good few days.

Agree with March, wettest day for ages possibly this year.

We were promised this type of weather for weeks and it never came.

Oh sorry that was for the coldest cold part of winter a few weeks ago, lol.....

So this should now be our summer?????

Lashing it down with cold rain. But, by looking up, I can see snowflakes...

Feeling cold here, a little damp, rain was heavier earlier though. Temp 4.8 wind gusting from the south very strong 64 mph max gust in the last 15 mins, 74 mph max for the day so far. Knocked a few bins flying not to long ago.

Has been dry here for a while now. The sun has even made an appearance a few times. Didn't expect that. Wind is also gusting less often but still packs quite a punch at times.

Some convective rainfall sparking up in NE London/SW Essex/S Herts right now out of nothing....

Unstable air in the low center I expect. As the sun seems to have come out this is the type of thing to expect. I wonder how well they develop.

Mild with sunny breaks here.

Low pressure? What low pressure. Showers not to far away though

Looks predominantly dry from tomorrow for a good week at least... Nice :)

It has been raining here all day long. It has become drier since late morning though which I guess I could take as a positive.

Same here, looks like we have been near the pivot for a good 12 hours.
