Moderate wet snow in Stevenage

Seems to be snowing on leading edge as the front approaches. but then rapidly to sleet as seen on radar,

Had been looking outside this morning and nothing....then got up to make a cup of tea and was greeted with the sight of "heavy snowing"....  at least it settled a bit and it will count as only the second time I've seen snow lie this winter, albeit for only minutes!

Back to rain here, it was nice to see some falling snow though. A grim day ahead now.

Yep, just down the road here, and I can confirm that it's still going strong.....

Lovely sunny start here with a decent frost, much cloudier now and the frost has disappeared quite suddenly. 2C and light NW wind. Probably too warm now for snow though I'm on a hill lol...
