Further light rain last evening died out before midnight. Clear spells developing through the early hours allowing frost to develop. This morning, frost, shallow fog over near by fields, visibility around 300 yards. Fog thinning to mist by observation, sunny, frosty.

Yesterday evening's sleet soon cleared and it was dry from 1900. The cloud gradually moved away to the east and there were clear intervals from late evening and largely clear skies by the early hours. Dry, chilly and sunny at present.
