English Premier League: are fans being ripped-off?

Recommended Posts

This is a question that has bothered me for quite a while...Despite £billions in TV revenues, PL clubs continue to charge £60+ per ticket for those wanting to see the game. I think this is a rip-off. What say you?

To me that is a question along the lines of Is the pope Catholic?

I fully support the Twenty's Plenty campaign and I think this is more than enough for away fans to pay.

I also think they should also try to reduce home fans admission prices to £30 over the next few years.

They'll keep doing it as long as people are willing to pay and judging by the attendances people are prepared to pay it.

This...even the Liverpool walk out does nothing because they have already bought the tickets and turned up..what should happen is buy all the tickets and not show up to the game..would be a stronger message...playing in an empty stadium
