Yeah, not sure why some are worried about current conditions or for the last few hours, this not due to kick off till lunchtime and like I said yesterday to the guy that's hoping to fly then good luck as it won't pass till very late this evening.

What's gonna be interesting viewing is the amount of people that even though they are sat at home they are too damn lazy to go out and collect there recycle bin in!!!!!!!

I'm looking at this, on it there's a wave coming down slowly it's just west of Scotland for now. Not the low but the two lines next to our low that are bumped. If that swings this way it could really ramp things up.

Very blowy at there now.

Going to be a wild afternoon by the looks of it.

Hope everyone stays safe.

Clacton line is suspended due to overhead line damage at a rather exposed point near Alresford. I think it will be chaos on the trains for the evening rush hour.

Beautiful morning here so far with times of sun and cloud with a moderate wind.

Hoping the afternoon continues to play down and destructive wind. Southern Coastal counties looks to be in firing line for 60+ gusts. Hoping they stay way down there

I think over your way could see 80mph easily!

I hope it don't go over that, I live in a valley that can be a wind tunnel in some directions, this is one of them, the wind just blows in at Folkestone and funnels through.

Watching with interest here too. Recycle guys have collected a lot but have left some boxes full of recycling that have no lids right in more exposed areas and disappeared. That's gonna get messy. No one is found out to collect their empties either

Looking forward immensely to getting blown into the Post Office and local Bakery at lunchtime.  Husband thoroughly enjoyed getting drenched in Hay this morning feeding the sheep due to wind speed!!! :help:
