South East and East Anglia weather discussion/Chat - 2nd February onwards

So the reason why last night didn't work out is because the front was moving to quick for the cold air to catch up at about ten last night before I went to bed I knew it was game over.

So this pathetic excuse of a winter rolls on hurry up spring and summer want some mental heat!

Another chance during the first half of next week with arctic maritime air pushing across the UK with 850s down to around -6/7C predicted. That said the winds don't seem to back enough north to offer much interest in our region (probably cold and sunny with a couple of night frosts). 

So more drama to come I'm afraid and we haven't got to the mid-range where the polar profile is looking to become increasingly blocked.
