In fact it isn't....snow can fall accumulations on other hand.

Dew point is -4C the temp is hovering at 3C at the mo I'm getting a horrible feeling it is going to clip here.

At least it isn't the dry powder snow otherwise that would be even more excruciating if it doesn't hit you.

If it's any consolation, tex from friend in Bury ST Edmunds says it's still mostly sleet/wet snow. Ground soaking wet

It was forecasted to be a sleety mix near the coast as snow starved as I am I'll take anything that comes, powder snow in my location is incredibly rare. I would be most deflated if I ended with zilch.

Yeh I guess, we had 5cm here on the 17th January so I don't mind the fact it's going east of here as at least I got to see some decent snow.

Update from bury: still sleet with a few wet big snow flakes.

Snowing at CO10, quite fast - and they haven't gritted the roads, so fun times tomorrow.

Where's the radar on here now?

I chose it! I love snow, and when we decided to move to Kent, I looked for height. 1 or 2c doesn't make a difference in the Summer, but can make all the difference in the Winter. In December 2010, we had a monster snowfall, when about 12 miles (as the crow flies) in Central London there was nothing.

Hoping for a small covering tonight.

I would hardly call Bury St Edmunds coastal! I'm over 15 miles east of Bury St Edmunds and it's been snowing here in the past hour. Now 0.5C and the next shower incoming.

Looks like the showers are going to fade a bit soon before picking up again after midnight. Anyone east of a line very roughly from Kings Lynn to Brighton I would say has a chance between now and tomorrow morning of seeing at least something.
