A dry clear cold start with a rare winter air frost

Temp -0.7C low -1.7C,  Barometer 1022mb falling,  Wind F2 SSW,  Rainfall Nil

Lovely all over white this morning with a good frost.

Yesterday. 

 

Mostly cloudy overnight, odd light snow flurry, a few cloud breaks towards dawn. Cloudy and dry this morning, mist. After a rather cloudy morning, a clearance arrived by early afternoon allowing sunshine.

A frosty start with a 9am temperature of just -0.8C. It was cloudy and mostly dry but some light rain late afternoon arrived.

A dry morning with thick fog developing by about 1100 and lasting into the early afternoon before lifting. Dry until 1515 when intermittent light rain moved in from the west, clearing again by  1830 without amounting to much.

Hard frost by midnight but clouded over in the early hours and above freezing by sunrise.  Dry and cloudy all day with bright intervals, with temperatures returning to near normal by afternoon.  Maximum 8.2, minimum -2.6.  Wind light S.

A spell of rain earlier thats now cleared into the north sea leaving a cloudy evening another spell of rain earlier tomorrow ahead of the milder air
