im a few miles from Keswick and Cockemouth and have had an inch of snow so far, easing off now but its -0.2c

Lucky you!! Snowing a bit heavier now but no chance of settling on the very wet ground...

Is it still going in St Helens/Newton? Seems like the line is around the Widnes area?

Yep. Can't see how high peeps will get 10cm or even me getting 1cm. Way too light at the moment

Think west to east is the problem today. You're quite a bit East from Liverpool Airport which is reporting sleet. You sure there's no flakes in the rain?

According to my brother in Bwlchgwyn (5/6 miles from me) at over 1000 feet above sea level...it's raining there with a few wet flakes mixed in and the dreaded sound of drip drip drip as the lying snow melts.

Temps slowly rising as well...already approaching 8c in South Wales...not good.

The radar is looking good guys! I am trying not to get excited but I can't help it! :)

Sod's law...when I lived in Manchester, I never saw more than a couple of inches of snow on the ground...while my folks would be letting me know that my home village in North Wales had over a foot of the stuff.

Enjoy you lucky so and so.
