Very good to hear reports of snow in areas further west than me! It seems that intensity (or lack of it) should be my only concern.

Lying snow about 15 miles+ inland whilst I have falling snow and puddles on the ground!!!

Yep. Can't see how high peeps will get 10cm or even me getting 1cm. Way too light at the moment

Remember last year when the rain turns to snow and becomes very heavy it only take about 5 mins to settle the ground.

Remember there is a weather warning. Surely it has to get heavier. MO wouldn't warn people about snizzle!

snowing properly now. I'm guessing anywhere 50m above sea level will get snow.

I'm about 53m above sea level.

I'm on the west coast Between Workington/Disington been snowing but just melts on ground contact! Had a text of my Mum who works in Cockermouth and she's just been to Keswick on a job and snow is lying there, been quite heavy apparently.

im a few miles from Keswick and Cockemouth and have had an inch of snow so far, easing off now but its -0.2c
