Looks like sleet here now that it's heavier. East Liverpool definitely the dividing line if Widness is getting snow. Might be tempted to walk to East Woolton later, a mile might be all the difference.

At long last it has gone properly cloudy now.

Looking at the radar there is a front along the coast moving southeastwards but the most intense stuff is still in the area south of west Scotland.

I can confirm the lightest snow in Chorley!!!!!! When the heaviest stuff arrives 4pm/5pm it should be snow!!!!

heavy enough to settle??? Hope so

Sleet turning more to snow in Widnes now. If it gets a little heavier it'll snow properly.
