Eee it's all on a knife edge! Still around freezing here. Is all that mess in the Wirral and Wales anoprop?

Couldn't get any more bloody marginal if you live south west of the Mersey! I bloody hope this corrects west just enough, look at these dewpoints, knife edge stuff (I know other factors involved).

Very interesting set up today. Got down to -5.1°C last night, coldest of the winter so far and it's still -1.6°C now.

The pink areas show it as snow, but it could be so light it might be anathrop levels.

I fear for us westerners it's moving too far east

It does look further East on the radar to what was shown on the BBC.I think Manchester could be the sweet spot.

I'm in West yorks n could be just on edge of precip.

Precipitation not reaching the ground. A good sign,  evaporative cooling should be effective. feels really snowy outside  if you know what I mean.

Same here - nothing falling from.the sky, yet according to the radar we should be seeking something.

I've just been outside seen about 10 flakes/drops in 5 minutes, very wet and small though, probably sleet tbh

BBC seem to think rain west of M6 this afternoon, then turning to sleet/snow from forecast seen at 12:08. Snow east, and Stav even said possible of a few inches, rather than cm.

As soon as they say west of m6 your really looking at Bolton west. But it is only huge guesswork, well only know when it's actually here. Looking about 2 degrees above 0 at prescot until you get to the m6 which is still at a minus at the moment.

seems temps are falling though...
