Dry,  3.8°C. Now where did I put that barbecue. Oh and I must remember to pick the oranges  and water the  Palm trees.

Frosty morning with a min of -1.3c, currently 3.1c with the strong sun making short work of the frost. Should be another decent day with some early spring sunshine.

I am not ready for spring! I wish we had a few weeks of wintriness ahead of us.

As soon as the snow gets out of the equation, my interest in the weather nosedives!

No it's been dry all day here. 4c anyway.

I wonder if that front could reach us in the early hours? Liverpool TAF seems to think so, and the met office app, but not the text forecast.

It would be nice, weather warning for wales not too far away. Lets hope it edges that bit further east

Weekend is looking a cracker temperatures upto 15c and with

The sun will feel very pleeasent indeed, before we get though

A few weather fronts and possibly more snow for some, that first

Opportunity been overnight looks like Wales seeing a covering

But even the far West of the region may some wintryness.

Second opportunity is some front edge snow Tuesday morning

As a front approaches into the cold air, soon changing to rain

Though, and finally Wednesday could see some significant

Snow for the midlands and northern England as cold air

Undercuts the front, only GFS shows this though,no support

From any other models.

So in summary

Cold and possibly wintry to start with some snow for some

Then HP building in with temperatures rising towards

Weekend

Major  overestimation of temps this evening. Forecast for the current time is  4°C , but it's currently  1.3°C!

I expect anything that falls in the early hours to be snow now.

Tuesday morning looking interesting.

High pressure looks to be creeping up from the south in around a weeks time, settling things down and should feel rather Springlike. But then just when we get used to the warmth winter could have one last hurrah, and IF blocking gets far enough North and those cold uppers have dropped into Scandi then there would be a pretty potent cold shot heading in from the North East. Definately one to keep an eye on over the next few days, it will keep my Winter interest going just that little bit longer.

 Yes, best of both worlds.

 Yes, best of both worlds.

We'll have to watch out for cloud spilling around the top of the high  though next week, especially here on the coast.

There could actually be some light snow in parts tonight. There is a little area of snow heading south, it's just reaching the lake district area now
