Recently started snowing heavily here in Newton le Willows, 36 metres asl and it is sticking.

Snowed enough that cant get car out..... In for the day.... Will go for a wonder once it lets up.... 8-10cm here...roads slippery as....  Really come down in last 45 minutes....

its that really sticky snow.... Stuck to everything.... Overhead wires etc.... If some places get 20cm plus could be probs with overhead cables in places.....

 Really heavy now. Still mixed with rain but that endothermic  melting process is beginning to take hold, and it is starting to stick on favourable  surfaces.

Moderate snow in south Manchester at 30m asl. Sticking to the roads now, half an hour ago it was trees/roofs only.
