No not really..... Every time rain proceeds snow and every time the same tired old myth is trotted out :wallbash::rofl:

It's that type of sleet that you can only tell from seeing it splat on a conservatory roof. Looks like large drops of rain to everyone else. But do remember that most models had all lower ground as rain well into the early hours, so for slight bits of sleet, it must be slightly colder.

If it came down at the rate this rain is, it's stick on grass pretty quickly I would think.

My lamppost turned off just now.  It is actually a playground lamposts which usaully turns off at 10pm when kids go to sleep. I wish the council have them on all night for me!!

Heavy rain here. I'm pretty sure evaporative cooling is something in textbooks and never happens in real life!

Anyone else have the problem when right clicking on mouse to save a web page the backround part of the image is missing? Keep trying to save a radar map but the map itself isn't there when I save??

Print-screen and paste into paint. Works everytime.

Must be a quick drop in temperature with all these sleet/snow reports. XC weather still shows NW England between 4-6c as of 9.50.
