Yeah  it looks quite good from tomorrow. I do think there will be some disturbances in the flow which will only be  picked up on at  short range, sometimes less than T24.

PS  I replied to you regarding some scenarios which could bring us snow  in March on my status feed.  Wasn't sure if I was replying in the right way as never used that method before.  :-) :-)  850s look good middle of the week, just need the  precipitation, but as I say I think there is a decent chance.

A nice frosty week to look forward to (from Tuesday onwards). Mostly dry but the models are hinting at a trough coming down from the northwest on Wednesday. It looks like a weak feature but small adjustments in the flow can intensify the showers. No mild sector expected this time.

A squall line is crossing our region. It's about to hit Manchester within the hour.

Chillier air following on behind it so we will soon get rid of this mildness.

A woeful day here, constant drizzle/light and moderate bursts of rain with a gusty wind, poor visibility. Miserable weekend again..

Next week promises much drier brighter and colder fayre though, can we get a dry weekend for the first time since 3rd weekend in November I wonder?

A cold week coming up looking mostly dry, maybe some wintry

Showers for coastal districts, the flip side to snow is there will

Be some cracking frosts to wake up,much better than overcsst

Wet and mild rubbish, can not rule out troughs developing but

These wont be picked up until nearer the time.

In summary

Cold and frosty nights followed by lovely cold crisp days

Outside chance of coastal wintry showers, and maybe the odd

Trough passing through the region

Didn't even realise that a squall line had passed through.

i must have been busy in the kitchen although after 3 months of almost constant rain hammering on the windows and conservatory, I tend not to notice it anymore.

hopefully a few dry days coming up though, maybe with a few glimpses of that bright orange thing that I've heard lies above the cloud tops.

as for snow chances, looking like a straight northerly so no doubt dry this far inland but I'm not that fussed and will gladly take the dry spell.
