because its running Nth to South just replay the met office radar for the day , was predoicted to be 100mile wide and seems spot on

Seems like it's heading SE to me. It'll clear the region soon.

Snowing at work and raining at home, curses!

Is home at St Helens? I hope it's snowing in Newton-le-Willows!

Good...not too much rain then. There is a God after all. :-D

Can I have this mornings sun back? I'll walk the dog without getting wet through for a change!

Its not so much the intensity but longevity which interests me. It'll be consistent snow throughout the evening and night that will gradually accumulate, come 7am tomorrow i'm expecting to see at least 5cm of the white stuff across the ground here at 210m

Easing - but radar looks promising to the NW from the IOM

Moderate snow here with a covering albeit it ever so slight. Looking good IMBY for the next few hours amd makes a change watching those in the South of the region nick all  our snow.

On rain today radar you need the dark orange (heavy prep) over you. I've got sleety stuff now the yellow stuff is over me.

The yellow stuff over Mancheser is currently falling as snow. It is 0.8oC where I live at moment, light but nice, no settling yet!

Grasmere often seems to have more lying snow than Keswick - I assume it must be slightly higher above sea level than surrounding areas
