Dry now after light rain earlier with a ground frost before that, cloudy at the moment and the low was 1.5C, its now 4.8C

A dry and clear start to yesterday evening but it soon clouded over, with a rise in temperature, and there were one or two light showers before midnight.

The temperature fell steadily during the early hours and there were frequent moderate-heavy showers, initially of rain but later of sleet; the showers cleared to the south around 0840 and at the moment it's dry and cloudy.

At 0900

Temp; 2.9c

24 hr max: 3.6c

24 hr min; 1.1c

Overnight min; 1.6c

Grass min; -3.7c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900; 10.9 mm

Mean wind speed; 21 mph W

Clear spells for time last night. Around mid evening  clouding over accompanied by a freshening westerly wind, some light-moderate  showery rain through the early hours and this morning.

Clear spells last night, clouding over through the early hours. Damp and overcast this morning, chilly. Staying cloudy and mostly dull, feeling cool.

Light showers soon died away leaving a dull cold morning sun came out in the afternoon before the odd spot of rain again late afternoon into the evening. Less cold.

A dry start with some high cloud and a light wind in the morning. The afternoon stayed dry until mid afternoon, then light shower.

Heavy showers of sleet early this morning cleared to the south by 0830 and the rest of the morning was dry with sunny spells. A few light showers during the early afternoon but most of the afternoon was dry, breezy and cloudy.
