one good bit of news is that the snowline for monday keeps getting puled back further west. Monday morning could be fun for a few hours. Lets hope so.

What a great January day. After a white start on all flat surfaces, roads, paths and cars, the sun is doing it's best to warm things up (slowly). Wall to wall blue (some cloud activity out over the channel), these days are really great after the doom and gloom days of recent. Luv it..

OK KArlos, your challenge for the weekend, by Monday. We need an app that people can run (IOS & Android) for synchronised breathing. It just needs to include, "Breath In", "Breath Out", "Stop" "Carry on as normal"

That way we get the whole WC community to inhale & exhale in unison.

I've moved nearer to Lytchett Matravers now, so a bit of elevation. Must update my profile actually.

But my weather station is at work in hamworthy, so will be different i'd imagine

You don't need a 4wd for a couple of inches of snow surely 4 studded tires are just as effective and cheaper unless you get 3 feet of snow? :D

Well going on one of Ian's tweets earlier if the SW does get snow, Swindon looks like a good place to be - let's hope so.

It's a fluid situation here as always seems to be the case for the southwest, or do i mean Liquid ......:pardon::wallbash:

So then, snow chances in the south west Monday. Impossible to tie down where the snow line will be,  if there is any when it turns to rain etc etc Every model run will be different. If your hair hasn't turned grey or fallen out it soon will!

Place your bets now.... rain or snow?

My waters tell me that it will be a rain event except maybe the north east of region like Cotswolds which maybe on edge of snow to rain event?  :sorry:
