What a beautiful day it turned into, lovely and warm in the sunshine. Reached that dodgy point in the gardening calendar...how warm will it be but more importantly, how cold is it likely to be. Decided to hedge my bets a bit, spent the day pruning the climbing roses as they've got wall protection, the free standing bush ones can wait a while just in case. Ditto the Buddleia, it got the chop but the Penstemons can wait a while yet. Thankfully the sunny day brought out a few Bumble Bees, opened all the greenhouse doors &windows to tempt them inside, they can save me the job of hand pollinating the Apricot which is full flower and they get a nice meal out of it too.

Lovely day in Warminster including washing drying in only a few hours of strong sunshine and low humidity, likely to be a gorgeous sunset followed by a rapid drop in temperature, I suspect more of a white frost tonight as moisture increases ahead of tomorrow's weak front. There were some snow flurries where I was in Trowbridge around 07.30-08.00 .

Can anyone give me their humidity readings my station is saying 23% which seems quite low:cc_confused:.  The other readings seem ok

hope it's not breaking again.

Been a lovely day here, quite warm in the sun, very spring like.

The humidity is very low today.  I have 51% on my Netatmo and 42% on my Vantage Pro.

Can you adjust your humidity readings?

How on earth do you get a reading of 25% RH inside, is it in a tumble drier or something?

Thanks Mapanz, Yes I can, I was going to get a collection of readings and take an average to reset it.

Tuesday night/Early Wednesday still looking very wet, but the Euro4 does move it through quite quickly.

The GFS 700hPa vertical does suggest a large swathe of strong to v-max PVA, so it suggests the rain could be very heavy in places.

Rmgfs397.thumb.gif.0ca5026bcd581afc8f8f6

Coupled with strong winds as well..

viewimage.thumb.png.b2bdd3b3d994b34b89b8

A bit unusual to see gales from the South, then within the space of a few hours, gales from the Northwest.

That is stunning. Just one thing your gauges page - the title's font is smaller than the rest...

Interestingly depending on how that develops could we see a little snow in places early Wednesday?

Met office app has been showing risk for a couple of days now between 3am - 12 mid day fluctuating a little from each update.

No problem, Mapantz! If I remember correctly, the gauges page supplied with MX uses the gauges-ss.css file so if you change the style of it in the main weatherstyle.css file then it won't change that one.

What do you make the dew point? According to Oxford airport on XCweather, it is 0c there with a dew of -2! I'm in Didcot now and it's raining! Can't believe it's raining with temps like that.

I'm 6 miles from Didcot and we've not got any rain yet (that's not that unusual tho). Still hovering at zero here and yes, surprising that's not sleet at least! And with such a cold ground some settling would be nice!

The air above you is too warm, so you're getting freezing rain not snow. ;)

Nothing exciting to report here. Grey, drizzly, cool; a meh sort of morning.
