Another cold, frosty start here today but like yesterday, it turned into a beautiful day, ended up working in the garden in a t-shirt - bliss to feel the sun again. Cloud rolled in later in the afternoon, reminding me of the time of year and time to put a jumper back on, distinctly nippy. Feels rather chilly out now, despite now having full cloud cover.

Don't know what the next few days or next week will bring but my money's still on having a white Easter.

Good Evening,

I hope you enjoy my timelapse i made this week.

One was over Frome on Tuesday night and the other was last night up on a hill near Stourhead where needless to say it was rather chilly but worth every minute!

Hi Fromey,

i just went outside and can confirm I saw just a couple of grains but literally just that!

I turned on my iPhone torch and could see them and also could feel them on the back of my hand.

You should be able to view the files on a phone and if you are using a computer then use VLC media player as it plays almost everything.

What a rubbish cold spell this is, from a cold perspective anyway. I've thoroughly enjoyed the last few days of sparkling sunshine, but of course it's now Friday so preparing for a dull and dark weekend.

I think now my attention turns to opportunities for convective weather and spring 'sunshine and showers' opportunities.

A low of 4.1°C this morning. There was also a tiny hail shower early on, I think I counted 19.

Currently cloudy, but bright.

Temp: 7.8°C - Hum: 50% - Dew: -2°C - Bar: 1007.79hPa - Wind: SSE @ 8mph

Cold rain and a speeding ticket (totally my fault) to boot. Not the best day.

The cloud has set in, hoping this isn't going the way of the 2013 cold spell which I will remember as CAC cold and cloudy.

Yes the 'biblical' cold march that everyone except the west country enjoyed with even Cornwall and south coast seeing a dusting from the near miss channel low.

By the looks of output it is going to be cold for weeks but probably not quite cold enough for us in south when we do get ppn so enjoy your high heating bills without the rewards :lazy:
