Cool, cloudy and cheerless outside but looking on the bright side,  it's Friday and the weekend starts tomorrow  I'm conveniently forgetting the weekend will be spent removing climbing roses from fence panels, digging out the broken posts and trying to reinstate what the wind destroyed on Wednesday. At least it promises to be a dry weekend, hoorah!

There's been some decent sunny spells at times, that pushed the temp up to 11.9°C for a time. The cloud amounts keep fluctuating a lot though..

Temp: 10°C - Hum: 74% - Dew: 5.4°C - Bar: 1028.28hPa - Wind:  1mph , variable.

Very sunny up to around midday when a layer of Cs started encroaching and now virtually full cover. Can see the signs at 500mb on the the 12z Camborne ascent.

How come it's been so nice every where else..? We haven't seen the sun at all today!

We only had a couple of hours of sunny intervals, khodds, apart from that it was anticyclonic gloom.

We were mostly cloudy until a spell of sunshine this afternoon, before high cloud came in. It did feel pleasant and springlike with almost no wind.

Yesterday was mostly sunny though, and the morning was stunning and a complete contrast to the morning before. Speaking of which, as well as a gust of 59mph Wednesday had a wind run of 510.3 miles, which if a figure I've heard is correct, means my anemometer made 816,480 revolutions!

Absolute beaut of a day, although it's got hazy now; the washing is on the line outside and I'm off for a bike ride with the kids, feeling rather Spring like!

Extremely foggy this morning, with a low of 0.4°C

Hazy sunshine now, but quite pleasant.

Temp: 11.4°C - Hum: 55% - Dew: 2.7°C - Bar: 1030.82hPa - Wind:  2mph, variable.

I ventured in to the shed only to be greeted by around 100 bluebottles, huge things.. I thought an invasion had occurred! I left a small bag of garden waste in there, looks like a stray one laid some eggs. The old hoover soon put pay to their shenanigans.

Yep. Walking the dog on the top of dartmoor this morning was a delight. Sunny and not a breath of wind.

True, but without that haze the sunset wouldn't have been so lovely.
