Snow reported by the wife back at home. Sky black, then 10 minutes of heavy snow mixed with hail. What a day to be in work :wallbash:

Just had a squally and heavy snow shower with a massive clap of thunder here! It was very unexpected and there's even a dusting of snow on the grass! Temperature: 3.3°C Dew Point: 1.4°C.

just snow?.....i'd imagine the dusting is from hail not snow.........everyone else in the region is reporting a rain/hail/sleet/very wet snow mix......so I think a snow dusting is pushing it

Wintry weather here, snow mixed with hail and rain. Flakes fairly large but not many! Very windy too.

Disintegrated mess here as usual - literally 5 seconds of vicious winds and torrential rain, not nearly enough to produce a transition to something wintry.

I must warn wild weather enthusiasts never to live in lowland parts of western Hampshire/eastern Wiltshire. Convective features always seem to fall apart before they arrive - and that's an observation from someone with a very scientific, no-nonsense kind of mind!

Can add to the reports of lightning, thunder, hail, sleet and wet snow! The NW Radar shows pink and purple echoes briefly developed around Frome-Warminster which must have been the core that produced the thundery activity and heaviest hail. Did have a nice little hail drift in the garden but it's melted already. Temperature dropped from 6.8c to 2.9c during the downpour.

What a pain that large clump of precipitation tracking just to the north of Bristol. Need it further south to see some of those flakes being reported in Gloucestershire.

It looks like everyone has seen a proper mixture this morning? Apart from a heavy shower last night, there's been bugger all here, just some gusty winds.

Temp: 4.8°C - Hum: 74% - Dew: 0.6°C - Chill: 1.5°C - Bar: 999.32hPa - Wind: W @ 15mph, Gusting to 30mph

Well that was a fun squall line! Started off as Icy  rain- hail, then got heavier and heavier, had 2 rumbles of thunder and saw 1 flash! As it cleared threw a few snow flakes was thrown into the mix, with extremely strong winds! More of that please :D

Absoloute chaos here. There are several trees down, many roads are shut and there's been lots of accidents in Exeter due to cars skidding on fallen hail.

A hill relative to here maybe, but it's barely even 100 m elevation.

I'm in a valley so... yeah. I will move away one day soon, to a more inspiring location - though the New Forest will be sorely missed.
