I have been watching Tuesday chances for a couple of days now and although meto app shows snow as well as netweather they have not mentioned even the chance?

I know they have storm imogen but its only 2 days away now?

The 12z EURO4 shows a nice bit of heavy snow over your mount on Tuesday.

Ian also mentioned the risk in his Twitter feed this morning but is understandably more focused on Imogen currently.

Looking good for you IMO although I wouldn't expect anything to last.

I wouldn't care if I just got to see it falling for a few hours that would be best i have seen in along time. I have a feeling it might track into northern France though and miss us.

Here in Yeovil it's pretty wild already...is it gonna get worse than it was yesterday?

Meant to get worse towards mid night I think but we all like a good blow. :D

Probably speculating and weighing up the risk probabilities of disruption from 70mph to 80mph gusts versus some temporary non-lying (? not so sure with elevation on one's side) wet slushy wintry bits. I may well be playing the potential down there though. After tomorrow's fun and games we will certainly know more about our chances for those magical white crystals.

Yep.  Although varying in from, the computer generated forecasts have been pretty consistent with that.

I'm hoping they're correct as I will be going up to Princetown Tuesday morning to hopefully see my first and probable only snow falling this winter.

Good luck old bean. If Princetown is proving more wet than white head towards Tavistock park at 4 winds car park and walk up great mis tor. At 500 metres you can't go wrong!

Same. It's started going nuts here! I wish I hadn't set a gust alarm, I'm too lazy to change it.

Am looking into how near to High Willhays I can drive?  Looks like not very near unfortunately.

Looking at the latest model data and computer forecasts, I'm increasingly confident that I will be fine with Princetown though.

There does seem to be a number of snow chances stacking up for the next week or so... :acute:

One of them has surely got to come off?

Storm forecast from 3am here in Southampton but we've already had a stronger gust than during Henry (49.4 mph).

Is it ahead of schedule, thought the worst of it was tomorrow morning, getting pretty wild out at the moment. For sure they'll be plenty of trees down what with the rain, sodden ground and these winds that are only going to get worse.

Never in my life have I (personally) witnessed rain like that then. Short (about a minute) of nothing but a thick wall of water, proper belting it down - now it's back to drizzle/light rain. That was beyond epic. :o
