Basically there was a big warning area for snow over a large area of the Midlands, I think we were getting the odd snow shower but nothing more, and someone did a mock up of a Met Office Red Warning in here, I posted it on the Mod Thread and the place went crazy for about 45 mins, full on toys out of the pram job. 

Not often we get snow so we need a sense of humour

just off conference with UKMO. Don't judge all this too early. Progressive fall in WBFL; repeated spawning of showers forced by Welsh uplands; ambient temp dropping through the night... all to play for re localised snow appearing anywhere above 150m as night wears-on. Cheers for now - off to our roof!

Appears to be precipitating on the radar yet nothing is falling here. Just as well considering it would be rain - the temperature has risen by 1.5C in the last hour.

Was watching Stargazing Live and I nodded off

Was great to see those kids who joint-discovered that pulsar (on Stargazing Live) and were so enthralled and happy to be part of a scientific discovery.

And they wanted to name it after their Guinea Pig!! Brilliant.

Yeay!!!! Snow shower on South Dartmoor. Didn't last long but the cars are white. 

Had as to get my 11year old daughter out of bed so we could go do a snow dance in the driveway in our PJ's. Luckily not many neighbours in our lane!!

The cherry has been popped! We've had snow! Sleet at first then whopping great flakes and then all done. All in all 20 minutes. All the roads are white. Dog covered in snow looking at me and  thinking "why?!"

Looks like another 20 minutes of fun is arriving as another band is due to come through soon.

Good luck guys and gals its worth staying up for!!

Just had a very light, short, slightly sleety shower here... Thought the council was mocking me at first, heard something on the window, so looked outside to the lamppost, and genuinely 5 seconds after that, it turned off  luckily it did fix itself quickly enough though!
