Probably using the Folkestone road instead for now, was with a friend who lives there, his wife and kid were one of those evacuated and he can't go home. They are going to stay at his father in laws in Margate for the night. Bomb squad are currently in hawkinge dealing with another one found earlier. Temp now on it's way down 4.5 from a high of 5.2. Mist is slightly more than earlier.

Get set the temps are getting ready to tumble away...

Most areas should stay dry overnight, with the far east of Kent perhaps catching an isolated wintry shower. Developing clear spells will allow temperatures to fall away to give another widespread frost, while freezing fog may develop locally. Minimum Temperature -6°C

Well if they come it better be snow, otherwise would rather it stays dry and frosty.

Cold here not gone over 3C, in the shade the frost looks to have lingered on all day with ice still present in the bird bath. (The first proper wintry day of the winter).

From this morning, doesn't really seem to do it justice...

Absolute beauty of a day! Frost remained here in the shade all day. Blue skies and sun all day. Been waiting for this all winter so far...hope it lasts!

Well it started frosty but cloudy, the sun did come out this afternoon but come sunset we had cloud rolling in from the north. So an okay day but to be honest I would be surprised if we I see a frost here tonight with temperatures trapped just above freezing.

It was beautiful this morning, a bit misty and very cold, then the sun made an appearance!

Now sat in front of this!
