There certainly looks more precipitation on the radar.....looks a bit closer too? The worry then would be that it gets to us before dark and falls as rain.......

Should be fine currently cold enough across the board.

Morning -

Im in here tonight deffo -

my wording is currently 'optimistic' about a bit of snow-

timings - any time past 1am please, as we want ideally clear skies from 7-midnight to get the surface cold going

a few things to remember this system is very shallow so minimal wind turbulence creating mixing - so surface cold wont get lifted out

also that harsh frost last night ( first of the year ) has taken a fair old chunk of the surface warmth out of the top soil ( maybe down to 5cm )

so lets have a clear eve then go for gold after 1-2 !!

see everyone later !!

s

Wouldnt worry to much steve temps and dps look fine :)

Fantastic news! Priveliged to have you on board for a potentially exciting night! Always enjoyed your posts in the MOD thread and have learnt much from you over the years, therefore, a huge thank you from me!

Not looking bad but I think my location might be in the less cold upper air zone and may only see rain or sleet?  Any thoughts?
