Oh, OK, maybe different radars make the direction look different too. I was only looking at rainfall on NW. I suspect I'll not be awake to find out either way.

Absolutely! Love those hot sultry evenings hearing the distant 'booms' rolling in the distance, hoping to get a direct hit :D. More usually than not, they travel just to the South of here on a NE tragectory and you get all the fun Surrey! :cray:

Yes, am very much looking forward to those. Will be doing live updates on the storm and convective discussuion as usual.

But, until then, all we can do is wait. Ooh, the clouds started to break here, so hopefully a nice afternoon to come.

Just home from a round of golf at Upchurch, was quite fresh out there. Now for some pasta before today's football match kicking off at 2pm, I was amazed the game is going ahead as thought would be waterlogged but I'm guessing we are playing on the pitch with a slope ;)

Hey everyone happy weekend! At least there's some sun today after last night deluge. Has anyone got any thoughts on some trona winds for our region on the 5/6th of Feb? Will be flying on the 6th So hopefully not too severe thanks !

It's a week away but at the moment no nothing severe and just like what we have had the last 48hrs, I wouldn't work yourself up and go round round in circles worrying about it.

Suns broken through here at last temp 6.2.

 

Lol my high temp was at 4 am, 9 and my low temp was at 14:00 5.5, talk about backwards.

Blue skies, sunshine and I've been out in the garden :good: Roll on summer and let's hope for heatwaves and thunderstorms. Winter can be hard for cold-lovers in the south but we get our share of awesome weather through the year too :D I'd like to be back in the north during winter but I much prefer our summers down here.
