Afternoon everyone, temps have been up to 5.8 today but has felt a lot colder, rapidly dropping now, very raw out there!

temp now 2.9 dp 0.3

Can someone explain why some precip seems to get blown around the country as we watch it on the radar and other seems to just disappear?

fires lit, coal scuttles full, logs stacked and sausage and liver casserole and home made chips tonight!!

Stay warm x

We had beef stew on saturday with warm crusty Bread and yesterday I did Chicken with potatoes, leeks and onions in a cider sauce with rice(for me) extra roast potatoes for hubs and bubs. Humble spaghetti tonight as it's rainbows.

yum.

this has arisen again quoting myself, and dont know why, doesn't feel that cold out there at the moment, just got all my glad raggs on, boots, coat etc after a lovely hot bath, to put my recycling out and got the wrong blinking day , but very mild where i am and out in the sticks, so waiting for the temperature to plummet
