Head to TN14 7HQ - the snow is settling readily up here. Once you get to J4 of the M25, which is slightly elevated, it is all up hill from there!

In corby northants been light snow/ sleet in last 20 minutes really started to come down proper snow now.

Halstead, Kent (which is tiny) is close to Knockholt which is anywhere between 160-200m asl. In 2010, we had stupid amounts of snow, 50-70cm, whereas the City of London had rain, and it's only about 15 miles as the crow flies.

Its 10:30pm on a Saturday night, I'm sitting with a glass of wine with four screens open on my laptop.  One showing this thread, one the mod thread, another on Raintoday weather radar and the last showing the 18z run on Meteociel.  Is this normal behaviour or should I seek professional help?

Yeh it's starting to settle now but it's incredibly wet. 

Stick my head outside and you can pass it for a soaking wet rainy night. 

Unbelievable that the Met & BBC were forecasting settling snow for the London area. If I cant manage it then London surely won't

Id imagine the best window you could have is your actual window tonight. Im as guilty as you checking every damn thing possible

Just enough intensity south of St. Albans to begin to settle on the driveway and cars.  If it eases off then will likely melt. Suspect the next 30 mins is critical as to whether I wake up to white or not in the morning.
