Heavyish but extremely wet snow falling. Making everywhere soaked.

My height is 400ft, wasn't expecting it to be so wet.

The air needs to get a lot colder for the METS 2/3 cm to materialise

They now state 4cm the slipped that into the warning sneeky

I'm starting to wish we had a nicer lamppost to watch, one of those nice old fashioned ones!

Nothing to report here.

Other than that my wife's getting fed up of me going out into the back garden every five minutes to make sure that nothing is still happening.

Just come out with friends Mark Watson gig in Norwich and snowing here, wet everywhere but gone from sleet to grains to flakes so here's hoping for overnight a good covering for Norfolk especially North Norfolk a streamer up the Glaven Valley would be nice lol.

Been looking at this lampost so long i would recognise it before my own kids!

Soaking wet outside, big wet snowflakes falling. Apart from seeing the flakes it looks like a normal wet night.... Oh well!

Snowing quite well up here. Road is fully covered after about 1 hour of snow.

Temperature has crept up to 0.9c from 0.6c, but doesn't seem to have turned the snow to sleet/rain. Looking forward to a few more hours of this.

Think I saw a few snowflakes in the lamp post. Either that or I need to clean my windows!!

Been outside for a closer inspection, it seems that despite the lightness of the snow, not every flake is disappearing on impact with the ground. There some evidence of settling. Having just this second watched the weather forecast, not keen on the "petering out" phrase
