Could someone tell those showers in the southern north sea to move back this way, such a waste to see heavy precipitation falling into a body of water

Wow.....Looks like thunder snow heading into Holland now from them showers!

Trying to decipher the psychology in here is of interest!

Whether persons want the white stuff to satisfy there own cravings ....or to rub it into the noses...of those that won't. .:cc_confused::yahoo:

We all want to see snow, that's why we are here.

This is a great place to be to share excitement of a common interest. I got excited because the met office update was a development for me. Much rather when people say *bank* when they see a chart they like for their area.

its all good fun and I'm sure no matter wherever the snow falls, we will all be able to say we had a fun night tonight :)

You have too many glasses an fall asleep...an wake up after a 5 hour snow blizzard:cold:

I was thinking more, I have too many glasses, fall asleep at 10 we have 3 solid hours if plate sized flakes!  Then 4 hours of heavy rain and I never knew it was there!!! :cc_confused:

Thanks, I will have another glass and hold on tight!!! What's the worst that can happen!! X

Do you really want an answer to that?? ;)

I think that we all need to remain open minded in these situations... This is a very marginal event, where some will undoubtedly feel let down and others (I hope) will get a nice surpise!

Isn't half the fun the will it/won't it situation?? If we all KNEW it was going to snow, would it be as exciting?

The fact is that there is a chance of snow... something that is a rarity, so let's enjoy the ride!

Later will be better....

I suspect I'm too far east - then again, I never expected anything here.  Nice to know that others have had something.:)

Luton Airport (160m) reporting rain on latest (20:50) METAR

For those further East... the Met Office have included showers of rain and snow to TAFs as far East as Southend Airport now.

Interesting Raintoday radar return for 21:15 (can't get a screen grab for some reason?).  Seems like a sudden build of precip over Norfolk heading south.  Could be the old dreaded anaprop, but fingers crossed it could be something of interest for the whole region?
