Goodness me, it's cold tonight! Would be nice to see some snow, but as ever I remain cautious until it's falling.

Used to work at Gatwick and they have staff volunteers for snow clearing duty, if and when it snows, and staff have been put on call for tomorrow AM

Shame we can't have a thread for the positive optimistic helpful posters and one for the doom and gloom merchants. LOL

Realists like me wouldn't know which forum to go in mate lol

Well if that comes about that shifted things quite a bit further east with marginality from about W Sussex westwards,. If indeed it peps up enough as it's all a bit weak at the moment

Chilterns going to get a very nice covering as things stand. BBC even think London will have 2cm

-0.4c here now, temp has dropped a lot, models are looking good for a dusting, not sure what to think about the radar though!

If you look at the NW radar at 5.20 it just pepped up south of Banbury and then expanding quite nicely at 5.25. Looks like it is incoming for Oxford very soon.  Then north west London looking good.

Frost back as well

I think it's probably down to watching it really close to the event, but then not forgetting to look out of the window!

Black line = Precip but increased risk of marginality the further SW you go

Green line = Prime spot methinks live along that you should get precip and remain cold enough.

Red line = Cold but a lack of precip possible.

But london and surrounding locations look good.

to be honest that's most likely not to far off the eventual evolution...
