Upcoming Jupiter Probe: what will it reveal?

Although I'm not too fussed about probes sent to Pluto or Sedna, the device due to reach Jupiter in 2016 (I can't remember its name) might answer some very profound questions about our Solar System; not the least important being: does Jupiter have a rocky core?
