On the "Topics" list on the right, is there any way to change it to show who the most recent poster is, rather than the topic creator?

Yep, it's something I've been looking at, will hopefully get it changed in the near(ish) future.

I see it's been changed now, nice one!

How do you unquote a post? I quoted a post in model thread a week ago, and still when I go to post, it keeps quoting same post, 5 times now same post quoted?

Liking the new update Paul....Don't know whether you had something similar before but liking the (all activity) mode  https://forum.netweather.tv/discover/

Prefer the condensed mode, you can see more threads https://forum.netweather.tv/discover/?view=condensed

This question has been answered several times in this thread, including on the last page :)

Now i'm used to the new update, i'm liking it. The new Christmas skin is excellent too. Just a couple of small things i've noticed, I have trawled through the entire thread but apologies if i've missed previous solutions.

First one is that I keep seeing posts from someone on my ignore list. I tend to use the notification feature a lot (it's a very welcome new addition), but sometimes, though not always, it loads their posts. I can live with it, but wondered if it was specifically down to me using the 'show new replies' feature?

My only other tiny gripe is that the time stamp when you hover over the post times are in MM/DD/YYYY format.. it's no biggie, but it's the thin end of the wedge... next thing we'll all be saying y'all.. :whistling: Only joking.

Otherwise, A*.

Don't know if anyone else has suggested it but a facility to go straight to the top of a forum page I would find useful. Would avoid a long scroll to access links at top of a page.

Hi. I'm looking for the member list but can't find it. I want to search for a member whose name I can't remember but I'll know it when I see it! How do I do this now? Cheers.

P.S. Also really liking the Christmas skin!

Hi guys! I'm not sure if this was the case in the old version but is it possible to allow users to edit their replies to someones status?

Cheers!

Hi guys,

I had a post disappear on the main model thread? Any ideas what happened?

Also, I continue to have issues where it copies quotes from previous responses into a new post. How do I resolve this?

Phantom reply notices. This is really getting annoying. People have replied but when you look the person hasn't replied to the thread you're posting in. Dunno where they have replied or to what they have replied too but certainly not the thread you're looking at.

Don't think so, none of the thousands online are reporting the issue.

Probably ignoring it.

Still happening on whatever pc I'm using . So it's not a pc issue.

I'll try and screen shot it next time.

The issue seems to be how it refreshes the page.

So you'll be writing a post and it will say several updates or one update. You post they are no updates shown. Refresh the page and they're are shown before your post.

I would have thought it would have refresh the page as soon as you post.

That is, as I understand it how it works by design. You have the option when making the post to view the posts as they appear, if you don't do that then posting will put your post into the thread but won't refresh the screen. This is because everything posting is done in line to speed it up and remove the need to keep refreshing the page every time someone posts.

Which is fine when the thread is inactive but when the thread is very active you'll never finish your post as you'll be constantly checking too see whats been posted. In that case it makes sense to refresh the thread when you make the post thus avoiding confusion.

Thing is, having checked on the invision site, and on this one - you appear to be the only person talking about this as an issue TP! If it confuses more people I'm sure they'll get that feedback and look to see what to do with it though.
