A dry start to last night with clear intervals and a slight ground frost. Cloud thickened after midnight and eventually brought a period of light-moderate rain during the early hours, the rain accompanied by hill fog.

The fog and drizzle cleared around 1015 and since then the day has been mild, cloudy and breezy.

Only just on the new set up

rain at first soon cleared to dry but lot of cloud, has now turned much milder, 12c from the early hours of 1c
