Unbelievable. Now the BBC are getting it in the neck from the opinionated ones in the other thread.

Come on though, our own David Braine, mildy if ever there was one.

Seems to positivly glow whenever it's wet and mild.

BBC weather presenter's should be completely un-biased knocker, just like you.

Lol Knocker.  Hope you've got the boiler fired up in the woodshed.

Have you dusted off your blue crayons yet?

Well the Met Office are sticking to their guns in using the word 'brief' so they obviously don't see any sustained cold spell on the model output they are observing

I do wish the BBC would stop this anti-cold agenda! Given that colder would equal less moisture and therefore less rain to those areas already flooded.

Comments like " hopefully it won't last long" in relation to cold is always the same story. Hopefully for whom, since when did the BBC become the weather preference mouthpiece for the whole country.

Come the revolution all mild ramping BBC forecasters will be shown the door! I will clone Helen Willets and John Hammond to replace them.

Its winter its supposed to be cold,  also any ALIWBM comments from BBC forecasters will also be met with their P45's! lol

I thought the BBC was ending its contract with the MetOffice and the BBC forecasters were likely to be replaced (although I actually think they aren't too bad, mild ramping aside!).  If so hopefully get some cold rampers instead!

You mean like the vast majority of posters in the other thread cornish? I find it rather amusing when they start foamy at the mouth when, allegedly, they are dictated to by others when the raison d'etre of the thread is to do exactly that.

They say this too.   ' Towards the end of next week unsettled and sometimes windy weather with mainly westerly winds may become re-established, although there is some uncertainty'

Hmmm, not buying it. Clearly a dastardly cold-hater. :nonono:

I wouldn't say that was necessarily true, they might not have the confidence to put any more just yet, or they may be biding their time. God knows, we have all seen before how reluctant they are to commit to cold on these forecasts, especially given the time frame. I suggest if the models stay the same, there will be changes soon enough. Particularly by end of the week.

The woodshed is fully insulated and the crayons are sharpened all ready for the cool couple of days. I noticed the squirrels didn't bother to hide the nuts I gave them this morning................a sure sign.

No,the vast majority of poster's in the other thread and this one,for that matter are "coldies" They are biased, as am i towards cold weather in winter and proud of it.

Why? Do they know the ground will be frozen solid and covered in a foot of snow so even if they could find them again there'd be no chance of digging them up?

Go squirrel forecast!

If he was expecting those vile inclement conditions he would have tucked them away in his cubbyhole in the tree. As it was he just clung on upside down and ate it. As I said a sure sign and not only that the last time we had a foot of snow down here his 20 times great granny was alive.

Members of forums posting opinions? Whatever next!

BBC weather presenting like the rest of the organisation has gone down hill - no room for preference or enthusiasm less it be seen as politically incorrect.

There are many good and talented people there but the organisation as a whole is thoroughly obnoxious these days.
