Perhaps some back edge snow on wed morning?

Not that it would lead to much but something to look out for.

Tonight:

Heavy rain in evening, but winds turning southwest and easing. Further rain overnight but turning increasingly to snow, even to lower levels although becoming lighter and more patchy. Minimum Temperature 0°C.

Back to the wind and rain again today. Not expecting any snow tonight, thought I'd be only too happy to be proven wrong.

Snow warning issued by met office for Antrim and Down tonight for higher ground (2-6cm) and possibly for lower levels as well.

Had given up on tonight but just checked out side and snow is really piling down. Grass is all white and road is starting to get a covering!

Making the most of a poor enough winter for my kids. No carrots so baby corn will have to do!

Missed any snow during the night but car and grass covered, more looking forward to spring now tbh

No sign of a warm Spring though Pom, indeed there are some bitterly cold March synoptics starting to show up.

Hope your wrong Mountain, it's that time of year when I lose interest in the cold weather

There seems almost an inevitability about it that after such a poor winter, that winter to a certain extent anyway will arrive in the spring.

This will be an exciting thread on Sunday if (big 'if') this comes to pass...
