Snow shower cookstown just now lay a bit but just did,nt last long enough to lay proper.

Sleet showers both this morning and this evening. Some beefy ones arriving soon, and as it's now just 1.5C, they could turn more snowy.

That shower passed by us here BK. Lay quite well and is sticking around. Much colder tonight than I had anticipated. Looks like there's more beefy showers en route...

Will the ECM op was wild outlier going by the ECM mean which offered something colder and better.

Wet snow/sleet here at the moment. Hopefully it will turn more snowy as it gets heavier...

few snow showers coming through here now. not quite laying yet. temp was around 1c earlier so would need to fall another bit for it to lay.

The ppn moving in looks interesting. We've got lying snow at the min, although is it starting to get less cold?

Snowing here and sticking. Doubt the shower will last very long, but a few more and we'll get a covering. 0.7C now too.

Some of you that's a little higher up will get a covering out of this. Starting to stick here but it's very wet snow.

Briefly lost power. Then heard thunder immediately after.  Lightning strike was very close. Turning white outside too

Wasn't expecting this, the ground is white and snowing heavily. Wet though, weather radar says rain!

Light layer of snow here which is a surprise as it was raining and the ground was wet when I looked out about half an hour ago!

Big flash and thunder here too. Everywhere white now but it's more hail than snow. Not complaining though!

The lightning isn't showing up on two different lightning radars I checked which is very strange. I thought maybe it was an isolated strike with me that didn't register but obviously not. Maybe has something to do with snow?

Its definitely very marginal. Mixture of heavy wet snow and hail. Friend of mines posted a photo driving up through the Glens of Antrim and theres a fair bit of snow on the ground. Would be a completely different storey if it was slightly colder.

I wish shows snow for me but very wet sleet think the radar is screwed on Netweather anyhow

I would say 150m or so will be doing good from this.
