Showers over such a significant period of time will surely mean everyone will get some joy!

Anyway, batten down the hatches, incoming snow!

If you watch the radar on raintoday.co.uk you can see the showers intensifying as the move inland. I have always wondered what atmospheric conditions allow showers to maintain their ppn rates as the move deep inland whilst at other times showers running in from Atlantic disperse before they even reach the border!

Have to admit I'm with you on this one SParky. The way I'm looking at it is if I get lucky then great but I'm not expecting to much to be honest. But we will see

Showing wintery on the radar didn't always mean much I was say under heavy snow on the radar last night only to have light rain.

Drizzling a few hours ago, but  cloud is intensifying! I can see a white fog a distance away, looks like a small or decent covering for Derry! Fingers crossed! This time last year, we were covered in thick snow, hope it repeats itself but doubts are rising.

Maybe we should set up a support group for those who miss out on the snow. I'll be the founding member as it only gives rain on the north coast :(

Clear blue skies here, 4.5 degrees out. Maybe I'll get lucky after dark, but I'm not hopeful. Envious of you guys up there, you have had lying snow about 5/6 times since we last had down here in 2010!
