we've seen snow 3 times this year at home, not a lot and maybe twice it settled to give a light covering.

The decrease in temps with all the rain could make driving conditions tricky but don't see much in the way of snow occurring.

Yeah I assume it's more from an ice perspective so let's hope for some white stuff too

We'll soon find out Pom, showers heading our direction now in radar, some green in there to

Not looking good after this eves model runs Pom! So hopefully things improve later for Mr Murr

As much as i enjoy The Chosen One's posts, i think he was out on a limb on this one.

The models have just not supported an Easterly extending over the UK and Ireland and we are going to fall short.

Encouraging signs of a more amplified Atlantic pattern from mid January which may provide the first widespread low level snow since March 2014.

Personally MS I think any cold for our wee country will come from the North possibly Northeast with the usual PM air in between. Could be wrong of course

Passed my driving test a few hours ago in Clonmel, with sleet and hail showers thrown in. Extra reason to celebrate tonight!

Here's how the park in Cahir looks this evening.

This is how it normally is, taken from the park looking back toward where my photo was taken today.

Extra sore head tomorrow born, good effort.

Not much moisture on the radar at the minute, could be early hours before we see any of the White stuff

Not convinced there will be much moisture around for snow. At least a frost is on the cards, a rare visitor this Winter.

Radar looking poor unless showers prep up later in the night.

An unexpected ground frost at half 7 when I was heading out to work but it looks like theres an awful shortage of precipitation of any kind  on the radar but fingers crossed lol.
