You know, some people on the MOD really just set themselves up for disappointment.   They are at it again because the 6z shows an upgrade for next Wed/Thursday's snow.   This weekend for me anyway, is just a crash and burn, not delivering anything like earlier model predictions.   I'm afraid it's back to YR.WINDAE.COM for me for the remainder of this winter(?)

Or in my case CRY.WINDAE.COM :D

Sometimes I think it's an advantage living in Crail in the winter. Because as the Rolling Stones once sang, you have 'No Expectations'.

Thankfully the drizzle is slowly melting the slushy snow here, who'd want a pasting anyway?

What an absolute waste! Finally get prolonged snowfall and it's too marginal to really lie much!

We've got hail now, it's doing the job which the snow has failed to do, it's going white outside.

Temp dropped slightly to 2.2C and its turned to heavy sleet/hail/wet snow. It's hard to tell which it is. It's white but falling like rain. Dew point is 0.1C

Snow on but too wet and intermittent to muster a covering.
