Here's something to cheer you up then you miserable git. It's raining here at 0.7/-2.2 Happy now?? I bet you're smirking away...

It made me smile haha.

Stirling might have snow so i could be experiencing some very low temps next week.

I'm still holding out for a rogue heavy snower tomorrow night.

If this was June i'd put everything i own that those showers would reach here from the WNW but since it could deliver snow i bet it won't.

It's back to snow now. We've found a substitute for lamppost watching. Get yourself a black dog. Let the dog outside. Call dog back. If he looks like this it's snowing. Genius.

I went out for a run thinking it was going to be dry and cold tonight so of course it snowed.  Topped up our wee dusting from last night which doesn't total very much but it is very dry snow at least.

Low temps is better than high temps!  No snow here either Daddy!

Bone dry here but cold. I'd to scrape my car windscreen, outside and inside, when I left work at 6pm. Back home it was down below -3C by around 7 and holding at around - 3.5C currently. We might not get snow bit there should be a good frost by the morning if this continues.

Given the latest radar I'm giving up! Unless that backs west before slipping south east I reckon it'll miss here altogether!

Well the forecast had snow central belt at 9pm! Gone! It also had the front stopping at Fife and slipping south wrong again. Looking at what's happening it isn't coming south at all.

Ok, just peeked out of window again and light snow falling but then vanishing when it hits the rotten wet ground. Congrats to all who have white stuff to play in tomorrow, commiserations to all who don't/won't. At least it's cold.

Is it not snowing where you are just now?

It's a mixture of light snow and drizzle. Weird.

Wet sleety/snow in Thornton,  near Glenrothes at the moment. Just let the dog out and she didn't think a lot of it!

I think the precipitation band has reached its northernmost extent and has started to spin back south.  This is bound to be the case as it was getting dangerously close to approaching Aberdeen!

Snizzling out here now, leaving an impressive 3cm according to my rusty tape measure. A Lomonds stroll is called for on the morrow. So glad these are my days off! :)

I think it's definitely ended up both further north and east than initially expected. Should still be some more snow for Edinburgh eastwards over the next few hours but the westward extent of it has definitely shrunk

Seems to be a fine mist up here interspersed with snaw flakes, almost looks like a hoover bag has exploded and the dust is swirling in the wind. Still nice and white up in the wilds of Denny though.

Happy days, feel like we've just hit the jackpot here with 10mm of sleet/wet snow and if it slides down now we will probably get some more until 1am which is what MetO are thinking.

School's temp has actually gone up with the snowfall but humidity has lowered so that the dp has too. It's not too warm though at 1.1 and a dp of -0.5

Weird as the radar isn't showing anything but snow is belting down even at my humble altitude.

And also a very wrong forecast for this whole thing but hey that's the best thing about the weather when you're lucky!
