3 cm lying here. Eased off to very fine light snaw.

Real snow for a wee while now.   Starting to get a covering. 0.7c/0.3/E

Snaw falling at all levels in Dollar but boy 100m in Scotland make a difference! Lying snow from some 100m with a noticeable thickness difference between 100 and 130m (highest houses some 2in). Back down at 45 and you can tell. Rubbbbbbissshhhh. But hey we got loads of ppn and a beautiful covering for the hills in the morning, so looking forward to a clear dawn with lovely viewwsss ahhh lifes sweet! 

School stat seems to have crashed again, that laptop is super dupere. 

Sensor was taken back by a teacher today for a wee experiment - which means I cannot know the temp! grrr. but close to 0 presumably.

Good to see some fellow Fifers starting to see some snow, still holding out with rain here in Crail at 2c. Rain also being reported at Leuchars where it's currently 1c.

Was snowing here(Carnoustie) (quite big flakes) about half an hour ago, not lying on grass but has left a slushy mess on roads.

Still snowing, but coming to an end looking at the radar, front is starting to peter out.

Front still forecast to build from N Sea and sink south. However it's painfull as it's still nudging north. Should be movement the other way by now.

What a surprise tonight...4 hours of snowfall...makes a mockery of the whole MT thread and game over etc when the Models were dry as a bone for here on nearly every one you looked at...nice 3 cm Base to freeze and begin the cold spell and the sledging season
