It could be more interesting for West midlanders if or when the heavy batch over Liverpool gets here

I think if the precip was heavy enough it would be turning to snow now over the black country, but thats the problem its still very light and patchy over us on its western edge, with the main band a good few miles to the east.

Hopefully the stuff over Manchester can track southwards without too much of a easterly movement.

The Way The Band Is Slowly Shifting South It Looks Like It Will Be Over The Area By 1am. But Would Most Likely Start Losing Intensity As It Starts To Narrow IMO. But Still There Is Life In The Band At The Moment. Fings Crossed As Been A Long Hard Day For The Area And Not Looking To Good For Rest Of January Snow Wise According To Models.

All looks to slip just to our East imo. The weather gods really hate us here. :(

Where abouts are you in the black country out of interest? Still drizzle here like a mild autumn night. In fact it is rather Isles of Scilly esque with drizzle and low cloud/mist!

Hey, I'm between Tipton and Great Bridge, I'm convinced I live in a little micro climate here sometimes..  I've lived here for about 18 months and I haven't had to scape frost off the car once!!  I'm from Cardiff originally and this kind of non-event is something that I got used to!

Yep, definitely getting heavier. Looking at the radar, there might be a good hour or so of this before it starts to die out.
