Blimey, surprised no-one from Solihull has been on - we've had about 20-30 mins of snow grains/sleet/flakes now.

It chucks it down, then stops, then chucks it down some more!

According to the MetO it's just slightly overcast at the moment.....? How wrong can they be?!

Had 10 minutes of  rain and blobby stufff about half an hour ago.

Generally brighter now

Temperature at  4.8C.

If the rain gets this far south. It will remain as rain!!!!

Just seen your post. It was just sleet here and never managed to show me a flake.

Yeah, we definitely had a few flakes in the mix, but not a lot.

Maybe a bit more on the way if Coventry is getting something at the mo?

Not quite the Peak District though eh? Lol...

A few blobs of sleet here (95-100m) which I only saw being in the car. It's totally rain down in town though. Mostly that horrid soaking drizzle which drenches everything.

Absolutely ridiculous that 250-300m and 50 miles makes the difference between this and 15cm of snow, in most parts of the world that sort of elevation isn't even noticed. Another thing badly wrong with the UK climate.

Guys the met have got this wrong in the sense that they said no settling snow below 200m . There was a few cm at sea level for some.  And if you look how much high ground has got it's really a significant event high up .

Also if you have a look at the met o radar . Then have a look at there predicted radar they have got the angle wrong .

Plus the fact the colder 850's are here it could well mean we have less rain and more snow. Beginning to feel a tad optimistic!

Got some light precipitation here in Wolves but alas it's good old rain as the temp is at 4.7c.

In what sence is it different ?  Looks quite similar to be honest.  However i think some might see snow.

Light rain turned to light snow when it went a bit heavier for a couple of mins. So I'm hoping for some heavier stuff
