And so here it is, the last of these remarkable, summer-like mornings. Once again, I really had to pinch myself when I opened the back door. Currently a stupendous 14.1C. I shall miss feeling warm when I'm out and about.

A mainly dry and breezy night with clear periods.

Dry at the moment with bright intervals but large masses of high and medium level cloud to the south east and to the west and south west.

Westerly winds became strong again last night for a short time before moderating some what after midnight, Mostly cloudy a few showers scatted across the area. mostly cloudy this morning, light rain setting in just after observation.

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday: 13.0°C

Minimum temperature overnight 8.3.7°C 

24-hour maximum 13.0°C

24-hour minimum: 8.3°C

Minimum temperature on grass: 7.4°C

Maximum wind gust: (Midnight to Midnight) 38.3 mph WSW

Rainfall total: 3.5mm

The strong winds dying down to around force 3-5 overnight, clear spells. Sunny spells this morning, breezy. Clouding over by late morning with a spell of moderate to heavy rain during the early afternoon. Mid afternoon though to the evening saw a few clear spells.

A bright and sunny start, but showers came late morning. The afternoon was mostly dry with some weak sunshine.

Thickening cloud during the first half of the morning eventually brought a period of light rain from around 1130 until 1230, the rest of the afternoon was dry and cloudy with the cloud eventually breaking after sunset.
