A near miss from thunderstorms at about 21:00, the time I was born at. That must be why I love storms!

 

Oh yeah, and I had a thunderstorm on my 18th birthday as well!

Surprised records went back this far lol,but 9/2/50 seems to sum up my love of cold and snow.....I was born into it,not too sure to be honest just lots of blue and a large trough,may have it totally wrong.

That was the great gale of 2nd/3rd January 1976, 24 killed. Really bad around this area.

well if anyone is kind enough, my Birthday was 17/11/1972 and if it was raining I wouldn't be surprised.

That day followed a notably early south-coast frontal snowfall (though it was marginal near sea level), while sleet and snow showers affected eastern Scotland and north-east England as the wind veered northerly, but it was mainly dry and sunny elsewhere.

Remember that time very well, incredible amount of Snow here in Yorkshire whipped up into deep drifts by very strong winds, waist deep in a number of locations en route to school.
