A short spell of sunshine early this morning followed by some longer spells of very hazy sunshine into mid-morning through a layer of fog.

Fairly mild until mid-morning but the fog eventually crept up to the hill tops and the afternoon was much cooler with persistent fog, atlhough the sky was often visible overhead above 320 m.
