Dense fog with sky obscured after a clear start with shallow fog patches around midnight, a low then of 7.7C, now on 9.9C

Well we won't be hitting any high temperatures here today, 12C with thick fog, unlikely to clear soon. Met Office called it right for my location. However, I see many places are already in the clear. Will be interesting to see if 20C can be reached somewhere with it now being November!

The dull foggy morning finally cleared around lunch time and the afternoon is just lovely, no wind, blue skies, and a temperature at the moment of 17.0C

bonkers weather here today, just sat outside in t-shirt, begonias still flowering, dahlias in full bloom, this is North Derbys at nearly 180mts.

great weather, its like an extended Autumn. still missing some decent frosts ha ha.

 

gardens further South must be in full bloom, only casualty here has been marigolds in front garden, but it is North facing, had to dig them up today.

 

temp is 17.5 here at 3.45pm, local station showing a high of 22.3 today that was at 1.08pm

 

graph showed a quick rise from 8.6 at 10.30am to 22.03 at 1.08pm.

Sunny, almost cloudless and exceptionally mild, the second highest November max' on record here. Record began in 1977. It was also the sunniest November day since 2006.

Drove back from Oxfordshire to Somerset passing through banks of fog with sun in between - temperature going up and down as a result. Much cooler at home where fog seems to have remained in place all day keeping temperature low enough to need to put on fire.
